Introduction of British Airways


British Airways, is the banner service provider air travel of the United Kingdom .British Airways is the United Kingdom’s biggest globally planned air travel traveling to 148 locations around the globe.  British Airways head office is located in Riverside close to its major hub at London, Gatwick Airport terminal. British Airways Group was established on 1 Sept 1974 due to nationalization by the labor government as at then. British Airways was created from a couple of airways which were, British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and British European Airways (BEA), Cambrian Air passage from Cardiff and Northeast Airlines from Newcastle upon Tyne.  In the 1974 all four companies were disbanded to happen into British Airways. British Airways was privatized in Feb 1987 after over 13 years as part of the privatization plan by the Conformist Government as at then. The air travel quickly extended with buying of British Caledonian (BCAL) and Gatwick-based service provider Dan-Air in 1992. British Airways is a beginning member of the one globe air travel partnership along with four other airways - American Airlines, Cathay Hawaiian, Qantas and the now outdated Canada Airlines. The partnership has ever since developed to become the third major airline travel partnership, with only SkyTeam and Celebrity Alliance being larger. The airline travel is considered as one of the world’s major planned top quality globally airways. Aside from planned traveler services, British Airways also functions a globally freight business.
